Garmisch Partenkirchen
is a famous little town in the south
of Bavaria with 26,000
inhabitants. Its famous for its landmark - the Zugspitze,Germany's
highest mountain. Also well known is Garmisch for its skiing
area with world cup slopes. The Olympic winter games 1936
took place here.
