An
event of world wide interest will take
place in germany in 2006: the 18. soccer
world cup. From 09.June 2006 to 09.July
2006 the audience will see 64 matches
in 12 stadiums in different towns all
over germany. About 3 million spectators
will be expected for this enormous spectacle,
watched by about 10,000 journalists
from the most important mass media all
over the world.
32 soccer teams of 6
continental zones, Africa, Asia, Europe,
North-Central-American and Caribbean
zone, Oceanian zone and South America
zone fight for the world cup:
13 soccer
teams from Europe, 5 teams from Africa,
Asia and South America both got 4.5
points, N./C. American and Carribean
zone was awarded 3.5 and Oceania 0.5
points.
Germany as the host country is
automatically placed.

The
run on the tickets is extraordinary.
Never before in the history of soccer
world cup there were so many inquiries
so long before the world cup starts.
The
sale of the tickets takes place in five
sales periods:
